What do you think about sharing these stories?

I was thinking about the times when I won’t longer be around. I’ve noticed with Robbie, and my very best friends as as I’ve lost them, you tend to forget the sound of their voices.

I was going through my old cassettes during the first COVID lockdown, and found a few with Robbie’s voice on it. It made me so happy. He was one of those people who would never feature on anything. He was the behind-the-scenes man, always organising the recordings and taking the photos. Unlike me, I’m always yakking.

That’s why I’m happy to be doing this. I feel like I’ll never die if these stories are around. And in the recordings, people can hear me say things in my own words. It brings back so many thoughts and memories, and really makes me feel like I’ve had an interesting life.
