I invented bottled water

I reckon I invented bottled water! When I was about eight or nine, I used to play with empty sauce bottles. If there was a bit of sauce at the bottom and I put water in, it would turn red. Then I had this wonderful idea - what if I filled Coke bottles or beer bottles with water and sold them? Everyone laughed at me because nobody ever carried a drink bottle around back then.

Now look at it - bottled water everywhere! Though honestly, it upsets me now because of all the plastic waste. Victoria’s water is the best in the world, and I’ve told my kids I invented bottled water, even though now I wouldn’t even buy it! Isn’t that funny? You can come up with an idea, everyone laughs at you and you think it must be silly, then years later it turns out you were right!
