Bins

Go out monday night, alternating between recycle and green bin. Just copy neighbours 😂

Kitchen bins are the top drawer to the left of the sink. One is recycling and one is general waste.

Bin bags are in the tiny cupboard to the right of the oven.

Compost is the black countertop bin under the microwave.

Toilet paper

In the drawers in every bathroom. If one is empty, check the others (heaps in the large upstairs bathroom)

Stove & oven

Stove is gas. If it's not lighting, check that the Hob switch is on (next to the USB port behind the kettle)

Oven is electric. Pots and pans should be oven safe, but check if you’re unsure.

Mitts are in the drawer below the pantry. Some additional oven pans are in the drawer under the oven.

Pots and pans

Stainless steel. If you’ve never used stainless steel before, make sure to heat them up first before adding oil. They heat up a lot more than standard pans, so set to lower than you usually would for non stick or similar.

Microwave

Microwave is great, try SENSOR COOK!!

Dishwasher

Tablets are under the sink. We usually put the time delay on to run it during the day for solar.

Fridge

Water dispenser on front, ice dispenser in freezer.

Other appliances

• Mixer and nutribullet is in the pantry
• Toasted sandwich maker is above the microwave
• Rice cooker is above the microwave
  • To use, plug in, push the third button to switch to 40 min mode, then put in your scoops of rice and fill up to the equivalent line. Press red button to start (it will actually take like 20 ish mins)
• Fridge makes ice on its own - in the freezer
• Coffee machine - please don’t use it unless you have espresso machine experience! Otherwise, feel free to make yourself a coffee with beans in the bean container. If you are filling up the tank, only ever use filtered water from the front of the fridge.
